The entire venture is owned by the community and not individuals. So we make sure that the revenue generated by your stay with us goes directly to the community, shared by them equitably and supports our initiatives of reviving our traditions. Since we depend up on non profit making travel facilitators for marketing and managing enquiries, there are no hidden costs.

We are very particular to ensure that your visit to our village does not create any cultural shock to our community or to you. So we expect certain codes of behaviour from you and we shall also follow certain standards regarding environmental hygiene, comfort, quality of drinking water and food, your personal safety etc.

The entire venture is owned by the community (poor women) and not individuals. So we do not take any extra effort to ensure that the revenue generated by your stay with us goes directly to the community, shared by them equitably and supports our initiatives of reviving our traditions. We have many other income generating activities, that depend up on locally available skills and materials. So there will be lot of cross subsidising since the entire activities are under a parent village organisation.

We take proactive actions to revive our traditional water sources, and keep our villages litter free. We dispose off our wastes through a collective waste management programmes. We have replaced our traditional open toilets with sanitary toilets. We have initiated an eco friendly coir based cottage industry to prevent pollution of water bodies.
