We encourage guests to explore the site through den building, pond dipping and relaxing by the campfire. Our yurts are kitted out with luxury furnishings including king size bed and goose down bedding and we have created a truly relaxing and magical space for our guests where everything has been thought of and provided. Woodburners keep our yurts cozy with logs from our woods. Each of our yurts has their own compost toilet alongside and the shower building is a converted shipping container. Fresh water is from our borehole and is returned to the ground after being naturally treated. We have a Gold Award from Green Tourism and encourage our guests to recycle and compost where possible. We aim to exceed our guest’s expectations.
Our business is low impact and doesn’t negatively impact the local community – we conserve resources including water and electricity and make sure we don’t degrade the local environment. There are no foundations so we can remove everything without trace.
We bring in visitors from across the country into Norfolk and encourage guests to explore the local area and recommend places to visit thereby contributing to the local economy.
We manage our site to improve it for wildlife and biodiversity as well as giving our guests access to explore nature. Have solar panels, energy efficient equipment and conserve and naturally treat water and have compost toilets
