Guardian: Tiger population of India facing 'total disaster' due to India-tourism-ban

Many environmentalists claim that India’s recent tiger tourism ban could mean the extinction of tigers in India rather than protect them.

Critics say that not only will the tiger population suffer, but so will thousands of Indians who depend on tiger tourism for their livelihood.
